Leo was a sizzling speed horse and one of the all-time great AQHA sires. A double grandson of Joe Reed P-3, the sorrel American Quarter Horse stallion was born and bred in Texas. It is said that he crushed his competition in 20 of 22 match races! As a stallion, Leo sired horses who excelled both on the racetrack and in the show arena. Among his many outstanding offspring were Robin Reed, Hygro Leo, Leo Tag, Leolita, Okie Leo, Holey Sox, Leo Maudie and Tiger Leo. Leo sired twenty-four horses that earned an American Quarter Horse Assocation Championship, and 211 Race Register of Merits, making him among the cornerstones of the industry. You can purchase Heather Rohde's fine portrait of Leo as limited edition fine art reproductions either unframed or framed under glass in a beautiful brown wood designer frame with an antique white mat. Ready to hang on your wall right out of the box! Your Leo American Quarter horse art comes personally hand signed and numbered by the artist and is of exceptional quality.
