Seattle Slew (Bold Reasoning x My Charmer) was a champion at two, three, and four, became America's tenth Triple Crown winner, and earned over $1.2 million. The only undefeated Triple Crown winner, Seattle Slew won 14 of his 17 starts and came in second twice. He was named Horse of the Year in 1977. Among the many horses Seattle Slew defeated was 1978 Triple Crown winner, Affirmed! Seattle Slew was one of the most sought after sires in Thoroughbred horse racing when he stood at Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Kentucky. Interestingly, Slew is the only Belmont Stakes winner to sire a Belmont Stakes winner (A.P. Indy) who then in turn sired a Belmont Stakes winner (Rags to Riches).
