An excellent fine art collectible of 1937 Triple Crown winner War Admiral!
Small in stature but big in heart, War Admiral became a Triple Crown champion in 1937. The most outstanding son of the great Man o' War, War Admiral won an impressive 21 of his 26 starts. War Admiral is perhaps most widely remembered today as Seabiscuit's rival in the great match race. He also sired the champion filly and Horse of the Year Busher as well as over 40 other stakes winners including Blue Peter, Searching, and Busanda. War Admiral was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1958 and ranked among the top 20 U.S. thoroughbred champions of the 20th century by Blood-Horse magazine. Artist Rohde has portrayed the strength of War Admiral in this fine double portrait, which is now available as limited edition art reproductions. Each piece was professionally done and looks every bit as nice as the original painting from which it was created! Quote on bottom of artwork reads: "A champion Thoroughbred, son of a Titan... A display of class, stamina, and pure courage."You can buy Rohde's fine art portrait of War Admiral either unframed or framed in a deluxe brown wood designer frame with an antique white mat. Your War Admiral horse racing art is hand signed and numbered by the artist and is of exceptional quality! A Certificate of Authenticity is included. A must have for the collector of Triple Crown or Kentucky Derby memorabilia!
